June in the Rainbow Scrap Challenge

My sewing room has been happy with its infusion of turquoise sewing this month!

I especially love these Scrappy Sprouts blocks!

I think I need to remake the purple ones, though... They were the first ones I made, and I mixed the darker purples with the lighter, lavendar ones.  I think I would like them more in separate blocks - a dark one and a light one.

The one project I hadn't spent any time on this month was my Sawtooth Stars quilt.  So I pulled out that project box and sorted through to see if any of those pretty Blush and Bloom florals had some turquoise in them.

Sure enough - here are two I hadn't cut into yet.

So I made a couple 12 inch Sawtooth Stars -

This quilt is slowly taking shape!

I love the sprouts too! They look so happy, and you made lots of progress with the aquas. I love the different sizes of the stars, too. Stay nice and cool!

Your random scrappy TEAL/TURQUOISE/AQUA blocks look great, but the photo of your accumulated Sawtooth Stars took my breath away. I absolutely LOVE how these are coming together!!

Loving the sprout blocks! I didn't make any of those this month and I should have... I'll put that on the list for this week!

You have got a lot done this week. I like your sawtooth stars, and the bow ties; I must make a bow tie quilt one year too! I love the sprouts blocks - is that the official name, or are you being creative?

I'm in love with your scrappy sprouts. Will you keep them as sprouts? Or will they be part of something else? They are just so cute!!

So cool-looking, a tall drink with a cherry added. Great improv Quilting and a fun finish.
