I do love cookies. I don't bake very often anymore, but once in awhile I buy a package of these -
Double Dark Chocolate - yum!
Soup cooking in the crockpot is a big treat - smells good all day and all the work is done by dinnertime!
Making binding for a quilt is a treat -
and I love sewing the final step of the binding by hand, too.
It means I've finished another quilt!
My once a month quilt group get together is always such a treat! I don't belong to a guild - just a group of friends who share a love of sewing and other needle crafts in common and get together to enjoy each other's company. We've been meeting for 20 years now!
We made this table runner together recently for one of our members who is dealing with some tough family things right now. She loves browns and western -themed things, so we hope she'll enjoy this in her home.
Everyone made a couple of strips for it, and then a few of us finished it up. I think it looks great on my friend's leather couch, don't you?!
Another treat I love is Dinner Theater night every now and then with some girlfriends. This time we saw "Always, Patsy Cline."
It was a really enjoyable show, and although I've never been a big country music fan, the music in this show was both fun and beautiful!
And this time of year, it sure is a treat to see Spring slowly making its way to Colorado!
More crocuses are blooming, and the daffodils are hinting about it!

I love the cookies and soup in the crockpot, too! So nice to spend a little time preparing everything and then just wait for dinner to be ready. Yummy too! I really enjoy hand sewing on binding - it is so relaxing for me. And Spring flowers - is there anything better?! ~smile~ Roseanne

Diann I do believe we have the same likes on a lot of things - I used to bake cookies all the time, since the kids grew up years and years ago not (hard to believe) I do not bake as often so occasionally buy a package instead as it is so much less than baking a batch and that is the brand I buy. I do not mind binding in the least and love flowers growing
I concur with all these likes. I can lip synch all of Patsy's songs, LOL. Hubby loves those cookies and yesterday I had our crock pot going, but Diann, it was because it was a snowy, blowy day and something stewing seemed comforting.

Those are my favorite cookies from Pepperidge Farm! I try to stay gluten free but those are a treat maybe once a year. They are so delicate. That is a nice table runner you all made for your friend. there is NOTHING growing here. Not a hint of color. You have a yellow flower? Love that! I like binding, and soup and milano cookies, and dinner theater and the quilt makes me want to make one too.

Great likes this week! I love those cookies too (okay I love most cookies). We have two crocuses blooming just like yours but are fighting some cold temps here right now. Wonderful likes! I'm sorry to hear about your friend's troubles, but glad to hear she has such loving support! Quilters have such huge hearts! As a child, Daddy would share his love of music with me. Hence Patsy's "I Fall to Pieces" is one of my favorite songs! Thank you for sharing!
