Springtime in the Rockies!

Here is the view outside our house this morning...  We ended up having a snow day, so no school!
What to do on a snow day?  Find a little sewing project!  I made a lined drawstring bag from this tutorial by Ashley at The Creative Place.  I love how it turned out!  The only change I made was to use some white cord in place of the fabric drawstrings, and I pulled one long piece all the way through to be tied on one side.  That way it wasn't quite so bulky.
I made the bag to hold this fun fabric bundle, which is a gift for a special friend at work who is also a quilter.  I hope she likes it!

I will be linking up with Live a Colorful Life for Really Random Thursday!

SNOW?! We've been dealing with a heat-wave this week! I love that you made a bag to give a gift of fabric - so thoughtful, and it looks great!

Hi Diann - did you know you are a "no-reply blogger"? You might want to change that!
