Hello, umm???
That's as far as I've gotten on the Primrose Cottage "Hello Summer" design.
I just had to stitch the watermelon - it's so cute!
The rest of my slow stitching time has been dedicated to a project for the Christmas in July Blog hop over at Melva Loves Scraps that's coming up later this week.
It involves an embroidered piece that I've been stitching away on. Of course, when you've got a deadline for a project, maybe some thing hand-stitched is not necessarly the way to go! Here's a peek at it.
Looks like I missed a line of stitching on that leaf - better fix that!
Come back right here Thursday to see if I finished my project!
Sharing at Kathy's Quilts for Slow Sunday Stitching.

Of course your Christmas in July piece will have embroidery…that’s your thing! I’m looking forward to seeing your finished project. Gail at the cozy quilter
That "U" watermelon is so cute! I need to get going on mine, I got my floss and it is so pretty. I really need to do a pre-hop post, but not sure I'll have time to do it. You know, we are SO busy - lol!
Oh fun that you joined in the hop, can't wait to see your finish-oh yes you will be done I am sure;)
That sure is a cute watermelon!
that will be a pretty Christmas piece I always like red and green pieces for Xmas
If I didn;t know better, I'd say the "mmm" applies to that yummy looking watermelon, LOL! I am looking forward to participating in Melva's Blog Hop too and now have got to get in gear on my project too!
Almost all my projects that have deadlines are hand stitched. I like both of these. The flose colors are very pretty.
Happy Sunday, Diann. That is one darling watermelon; such a precious stitch. And your embroidery is gorgeous! I look forward to the reveal. Blessings.
That watermelon is super cute. I'm impressed you will have a finish to share for Melva's blog hop!
