The eight blocks I need for the design I have in mind didn't take long at all!
String blocks are so much fun because they have so many possibilities!
This plan still needs orange and yellow blocks, plus lots more low volume background blocks, but it's always fun to check and see how everything is progressing! Here's a little hint of it -
I did sew with a little bit of yellow this week - but more about that in my next post! :)

I love how this looks. I really need to make a string quilt to use up my scraps. It looks like so much fun. I'm almost out of "new" fabric to make quilts with, so maybe this year will be the one! Are you sewing to a foundation or just adding fabric bits?
I love string blocks because they are so quick and easy. I have my yellow strings pulled so I can make some strings blocks of my own. Maybe this weekend!
really must watch a video on string blocks, these look great good to have yellow this month, green is my favourite colour followed by orange and yellow
Great plan for the string blocks. How large are you making the string blocks?
I had almost forgotten about the string star quilt. I am so glad you are keeping up with that. I like your plan. Thanks for including that with the post. Sometimes I forget where I have seen what! LOL
Love the way the purple and red blocks meet. The whole rainbow effect is going to be wonderful.
LOVE the strings! Use those scraps!
Glad you found some time to whip up the green string blocks.
Your blocks are stacking up there! It won't be long before you have enough for your RSC plan. Especially since YELLOW month is here!!
that will be a wonderful quilt
Your string blocks are looking great! I like your plan for these too!
Your green string blocks look great! I love seeing the different layouts you share.
It's so much fun watching this quilt come together!
String blocks are so much fun. So many ways to play with the layout.
I love string blocks too!
That's going to be such a cool quilt. Your greens look great.
