I've been focusing this week on my Cheddar and Blue Autumn Jubilee project: sashing the different blocks, sewing them into the size and shape I wanted for the wall-hanging, and adding a border. So a lot of leader and ender seams were sewn along the way.
Some Easy Breezy blocks:
Can you tell what scraps were on my cutting board?
Here are all the Easy Breezy blocks I've made so far.
I've also been sewing the Rainbow Jungle trees into four patches and then rows. This quilt top is going to come together quickly!
Meanwhile, the Cheddar and Blue wall-hanging is spray basted and ready to quilt. I may have gone a little crazy and bought some cheddar thread to quilt this one with!
I think this could be fun!

You've been very productive. I have missed RSC this year; will definitely jump back in next year.
ReplyDeleteHow fun, can't wait to see your finished Autumn Jubilee with the cheddar quilting!
ReplyDeleteI’m looking forward to your indigo and cheddar finish and the Easy Breezy blocks! I’ve decided the tiny ones are too tiny. Next year I’ll go a different route. I still haven’t decided on what blocks to do. Sigh!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun happening in your sewing room! Love the cheddar thread. The easy breezy blocks look great... I really need to find mine again.. they got pushed back from next to the machine. I can't wait to see that Autumn jubilee quilt. And those trees! Still loving them....

ReplyDeleteLove all your blocks, especially those trees! Can't wait to see them all together! (Are you going to set them solid or leave an occasional path through the woods?)
ReplyDeleteOh I do love the Easy breezy blocks with a plain alternate block... I might have to try that!
ReplyDeleteCheddar thread - go Diann! Thanks for sharing your lovely blocks with Oh Scrap!
ReplyDeleteI like your Easy Breezy blocks. they look great with the plain block in between. It lets them shine a bit more rather than competing with each other right next door.
ReplyDeletePooh, do hurry, cant wait to see your Rainbow forest all completed!
ReplyDeleteSorry, really didn't mean to say pooh, should have been an excited oooh!
ReplyDeleteSo many fun scraps! I love seeing so many of the tiny trees together :)
