Rainbow Jungle in Purple

It is always the best fun, at the beginning of a month, to hunt around in my stash and see what I can do with the new color for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!  This month is no exception, and it wasn't long before I had eight purple trees ready to add to the jungle.

  3. I love your trees! I think next year I need to pick out a really easy pattern for my RSC and something that might use a lot of bigger pieces then what I am doing this year - something to use more of the scraps up

  8. your christmas trees are great! i love the colors, the vibe, and the brightness! i tried those for my RSC project a couple years ago, and ended up not loving it. Mari (academic quilter) ended up adopting the blocks and finished a quilt- so at least they got used and aren't languishing in a drawer! can't wait to see the reds and yellows!

  12. This is such a cheerful happy forest! And what a great idea, to cut your scraps for several quilts at once.

  20. Sounds like you have a good system to use your scraps up by sewing the blocks in that order. Smart! Your little trees are just so cute and fun :)
