I'm stitching around each square, plus following the seam lines for all the block designs. Here's the block I finished most recently.
Cathy
Just two more blocks to go - here's the one I'm currently working on - Claire.
and then I'll quilt all the sashing and cornerstones. I'm getting close to a finish!

ReplyDeleteWhat neat stitching! I had to look back through some of your older posts that I missed to find the backing you used - so pretty.

ReplyDeleteWow, you are moving on that project!! Are you binding it in red? Scrappy or 1 piece?
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty piece! I would imagine that it becomes even more a part of you when hand stitched. Are your evenings cool so that having it in your lap isn't too hot? It's been so hot and sticky here that I can't imagine holding a quilt :)
ReplyDeleteLovely progress, Diann!!
ReplyDeleteGreat progress on the Book Club QAL and quilting! I didn't do this one this year, as I don't have last year's hand-quilted yet. Love yours in the red and white!
ReplyDeleteYou're working on my favorite of all the blocks! So much fun to see your work on this, Diann.
ReplyDeleteI like the outline quilting. It compliments each block well. It is fun to be in the final stretch of completing a quilt.
ReplyDeleteSo fun to watch this one evolve. The quilting is adding some great definition on your quilt.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so old fashion the way you are quilting it! That Cathy block is really adorable!
