I did sew together the Magic Star blocks from last Tuesday's post into a tablerunner size.
About 18 x 36 inches.
I even pulled a piece of backing fabric that's plenty big for this project, and that's as far as I got.
I also worked on my light blue RSC blocks for the month of April. My tree blocks:
and HSTs for the zigzag project:
I need 8 more for the row.
I've also been slowly sewing each color row together.
Things to do for the coming week:
1. Baste and quilt the Magic Star tablerunner.
2. Finish the light blue HSTs for the zigzag quilt.
3. Finish sewing the partially done green zigzag row together.
4. I also have the pieces cut for the fifth block of the Book Club Hand-Pieced QAL. I'd like to get that block sewn together.
Have a great week, everyone!

ReplyDeleteVicki is so wise, isn't she? I like her :-) Progress is progress, no matter how small (a bit Seussian, there). You do play with the cutest projects. Always fun to see how your week has gone!

ReplyDeleteYour hand pieced star is stunning, love your fabric choices for that block. You made a lot of progress even if you didn't get to check everything off your list. Good luck with this week's to do list.
