We see lots of rabbits here - they aren't shy about hanging out in our yard!
This week, I brought the bunny indoors by finishing my little embroidered bunny design from Gail Pan's Patchwork Loves Embroidery Too.
I found a bit of this pretty blue floral left from
my Blush and Bloom bundle to pair it with.
Adding some borders, and binding it with some Kona Grass Green, made for a quick little finish!
And here's where it's hanging now!

Oh this wall hanging is adorable! Great embroidery and love the fabric you coordinated with it! Is you sewing room in the main floor of your house? You have such high walls and can hang so many things! I really envy that! Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteI have not seen a lot of rabbits this spring and I wonder if it is for the same reason that we have no where nears as many squirrels as we used to - about 3 or 4 years ago a pair of hawks moved into our forest! we started to notice this winter that we didn't have as many small animals around
ReplyDeleteI love that pretty little mini, such pretty embroidery. I know you'll enjoy it where you can see it every day.
ReplyDeleteWe have not seen many rabbits in our garden this year, and I miss them.
Adorable!! But good thing my dogs aren't there, they love to chase bunnies, poor things. It's fortunate that we don't have a lot of them in my neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteAren't little finishes rewarding? It's just so fun to see that little bunny in your yard and on your door - I'll bet it makes you smile each time you walk by!
ReplyDeleteA lovely finish Diann, and a great place to hang it!
ReplyDeleteYour border fabric is just right too!
Hugs,
Barbara xx
Both of your bunnies are cute, but I prefer the stitched one to the live one. I haven't seen any of ours lately, but I've seen their handiwork in the garden. Hope your snow disappears soon and it finally warms up.

I like the fabric for the finishing touch - accents it so well! We love to see bunnies in our neighborhood, too. Thankfully, we're not overrun with them. Too many hawks around :)
ReplyDeletewhat a sweet embroidery! And the finish is good timing... to enjoy for spring
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Got to love Gail Pan!
ReplyDeleteThe real bunny and your stitched bunny are both so adorable. I LOVE the all the little mini quilts hanging in your quilt room. Such a happy space!
ReplyDeleteYour little bunnie embroidery really turned out so cute! I am looking for ideas on what to do with my little cross stitches and embroideries any recommendations?
ReplyDeleteLovely finish to your stitchery! Cute bunny! Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteHow cute is that! Aidan said he saw a bunny out my bedroom window this morning while he was petting the cats. I sure hope the bunny stays out of my garden....
ReplyDeleteThat pretty fabric is the perfect choice to showcase your sweet bunny and flowers. You have some gorgeous stitcheries displayed on your walls.
ReplyDeleteSEW darling, Diann!!!
ReplyDeleteYour embroidery is very nice and the border fabric is perfect to show it off! What a great mini finish!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful! Your stitchery is beautiful on its own, but the "framing" really completes it. I have several pieces of my grandmother's stitchery that I may pull out now to finish this way! Thanks for the inspiration!!
