Last week's list:
1. Make a set of quilted cases for Carole's Safelight project. ✔ Done!
They still need to be sent, but I'm not sure when I'll be going to the Post Office.
Still thinking about that one!
2. Make the march Color Challenge Block from Patterns by Jen. ✔ Done!
3. Get my Super Scrappy baby quilt basted and ready for quilting. ✔ Done!
Layers together and ready for spray basting.
I even started the quilting!
So, for this week's list, I'm just going to work on finishing this quilt. I don't think that'll be too hard since it is small, and I'm quilting it very simply with the scallop stitch on my Pfaff.
And then I'm giving myself permission to play with something new! I have a few things in mind - I'll share more about what I decide on later.
Hope your week is getting off to a good start!
Linking up with Roseanne at Home Sewn by Us for To-Do Tuesday!
Way to go! Our PO has blue lines taped on the floor to show how far to separate.
ReplyDeleteso many colorful projects going on! I wonder what color well be next! find out soon
ReplyDeleteThank you for making a Safelight case set! No hurry on shipping, the next delivery won't be until May at the earliest as NC is on lockdown. Your super scrappy quilt looks great.
ReplyDeleteGosh you've been busy! And I haven't kept caught up on your posts but I've read them, and I love your Color Challenge blocks, the bicycle, and these cute little pouches.
ReplyDeleteI love Super Scrappy so much. You mentioned spray basting it - what brand of spray did you use? I don't know if you remember but I had some problems with June Tailor spray and they sent me a free can, but I'm still having very "sticky" problems with it. I've even considered (horrors!) pin basting - ugh!
Wow..all of your projects look fantastic -- love the fabric for the safelight project. Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteEverything is looking great!! I seriously need to quilt too many things, but all these QALs are taking up my sewing time LOL
ReplyDeleteI have some things I could mail too, but not sure when I want to deal with that. You've have had some good progress with your projects. Can't wait to see what you play with!
ReplyDeleteHi Diann! Wow - you really are on a roll with your to-do lists lately. I need to get some inspiration from you! I like your take on the March Color Block. It is definitely orange and that sweet pinwheel is really highlighted. Your Super Scrappy baby quilt is so fun. I love the gray (Grunge?) background fabric. It lets all those scraps really shine and sing. And you're quilting already?! Yippee. I'm looking forward to seeing your new project. Sue doesn't know it yet but we're starting something new, too. HAHA! Thanks so much for linking up this week and stay safe. ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteGreat job on ALL the projects!
