Tiny Tuesday is a flimsy!

Part way there...

All the way there!

49.5 x 57

I've been going back and forth about borders or not.  I don't have anything in my stash that would work, and I kind of like it the way it is right now.  It is "big enough" for my purposes!  I think it does need a bright binding - I'm thinking red!   Hopefully, I'll come up with backing and binding for it this week.

So many favorite blocks -

I could really share them all!

I sure enjoyed this year of tiny blocks!  Hoping for a finish before too long.  Happy ScrapHappy Saturday to all of you!  Sharing at SoScrappy.

  1. Wow! That looks great! I agree that you really don't need a border on it, it looks good just the way it is.

  2. Love both of your little baskets. I see so many blocks I skipped or missed. And the ones I contributed. Fun to just look at each little miracle.

  4. Every time I see your TT blocks, I can't help but think, "Yup. That gray is the perfect background!" And now it's all together and looking wonderful :) Choosing the binding color is always a challenge with a rainbow quilt. Almost anything could work!

  5. I love how you anchored the corners with your dark blocks and scattered the 4-Patch blocks to transition between some of the colors!! Those were great design decisions. They really add a lot to your quilt top!

  6. Oh, congratulations, it looks so good! All those brights against the gray is really nice. I might add a 2 inch border of the gray all around, but it doesn't need a more colorful border. And I vote for a red binding! Have a great day!

  8. I just love how this turned out! I agree - perfect as it is. Red or a scrappy binding would set it off beautifully.

  9. Sew sweet! You'll have a finish before the end of the year and a new quilt to hang in 2020 to help get through the winter;)

  11. wowie, so pretty. And tiny! I like the little owl and cat basket. I'd like to make a little owl flock, was that from Mari or Scrap happy?

  12. When I look at your quilt top, it's like the little owl is inviting me to come in and take a look around! Great quilt! If it's the right size for you, forget the border. No sense in buying more fabric.

  13. I love it, Diann. It is just darling! I wouldn't add a border -- just let those blocks steal the show. A bright binding, definitely. Maybe even a rainbow stripe? Bernie has (or did have) a fun rainbow stripe in her shop.

  19. Oh my goodness, how did I miss this?!? Your TT quilt turned out sooooo cute! I love how you added some colorful 4-patches to fill in and tie things together. Really, it’s just a super effort; you should take great satisfaction in it. And I think you’re right about a cheery red binding.

  22. I love each and every block. Your work is so neat and I can see the thought that went into creating these blocks. It will become a lovely quilt. I suggest adding a skinny border (same as the grey grunge) so that the binding does not encroach upon the blocks, especially those on-point blocks in the outer rows.

  23. Your RSC sampler turned out very beautiful. Your quilt looks perfect as you have placed the blocks by color. I see you have more blocks than me. I have to see if I have more or if I missed someone. ;.)
