Bunny in the snow -
I prefer my bunny in the garden!
For round 2 of the Stay at Home Round Robin, Anja of Anja Quilts called for half square triangles to be our next step, so I made a few!
Last week I sewed everything I made to the center block, but this week I'm holding off on that. Maybe a future border prompt will fit in with this one and they'll be sewn together. For now I'm just playing with the possibilities! The blue is a fat quarter I'm auditioning for possible fill in strips when needed.
Here's one idea:
Bunny ears!
Or maybe this?
It's fun to explore the possibilities!

Both layouts look great. I really like the last one the best though.
ReplyDeleteLooks good! I wonder what the next prompt will be? Lots of creative opportunities with this sew along
ReplyDeleteYour fabrics and design are so pretty. The last layout really shows off the the Dresdens, but both are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI'm with the crowd on this one -- second layout. I'm holding off on the cornerstones for my second round, waiting to see if the next prompt will work there.
ReplyDeleteSecond layout draws your eye in to the bunny. So that's my fav!
ReplyDeleteI like the second one too, it has an asymmetrical design that gives it movement. Poor little bunny in the snow!
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to see how everyone interprets the prompts along the way.
ReplyDeleteI like the second setting best and that blue is really pretty for additional spacer borders.
ReplyDeletethey both look good but I like the second one better. I'm glad all our snow has melted. It makes it much easier to walk outside! but now on Thursday we are to get several inches of rain so the yard will be a soggy mess again as the soil is still damp from all the snow melt.
ReplyDeleteI too prefer bunny in the garden! That is a lot of snow!!! Both layouts are great; although, the second one draws my eye to your center better.
ReplyDeleteWell, if I get to vote I love the second one. Love the progress so far Diann. So sweet.
ReplyDeleteCute ideas! I vote for the 2nd one!
ReplyDeleteBunny in the snow and Bunny in the quilt are both adorable!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Both are looking good but my first choice is the second one.
ReplyDeleteThe first layout looks like little butterflies, but I like the stronger impact of the second layout.
ReplyDeleteI am right there with the crowd...I vote for the 2nd layout! :)
ReplyDeleteBoth layouts are good but I personally like the second one the best.
ReplyDeleteLove your center block and the dresden corners.
ReplyDeleteI like the second layout possibility. Your SAHRR is so springlike and refreshing.
ReplyDeleteI'm having so much fun seeing all the different border interpretations for the SAHRR. Yes, there is something about the strong diagonal line created by the second layout that grabs your attention. It's got my vote, too.
ReplyDeleteThat is so darling! So fun to see all of these SAHRR rounds. It's my first time joining in and it's been fun! Why didn't I try it before now?
ReplyDeleteHSTs offer up so many possibilities, I'm sure you'll find something clever and cute, just like that bunny in all your snow!
ReplyDeleteI like bunnies in your garden too ( NOT mine haha!!) what a cute bunny tho!! I like that second border idea - that is a cool design!
ReplyDeleteI love that you are waiting to see how the next prompt sparks inspiration! Both ideas look awesome for now. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
