To-Do Tuesday #160

Good morning, and happy Tuesday!   I'm  joining in with To-Do Tuesday hosted by Linda at Texas Quilt Gal.  It's a great way to keep track of what needs to be done in my sewing room each week!

I'm really happy to share that I finished up the quilting on Full Stop this week, and it's all trimmed and ready for the binding.  I found something in my stash that will work for the binding, so that's my job for today - get the binding made and machine sewn on, so I can do the hand-stitching in the evening.

A little progress has been made on the Autumn Jubilee tablerunner pieced border, too.  I'm cutting 2.5 inch squares for this, but the measurement isn't exactly right on the runner to match 10 squares.  I decided to center the strip of squares with the half star on the edge, and trim off the difference at each end.  I think this will work!

For this week's list -
  • Finish up Full Stop with binding.
  • Keep working on the AJ pieced borders.
  • Start sewing Masala Box blocks into rows.

All ready to go!

  3. Hi Diann! Full stop has come along so nicely and adding the binding is the final step to let you enjoy the process. Autumn Jubilee looks fab, too. I love those colors. The Masala Box blocks look fun - I love the colors and of course, polka dots. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

  7. Isn't great when you found the fabric in your stach that matches exactly for binding a quilt? The table runner is comming along very nice, I like the squares all around and how you managed to get the correct size, Diann. Massala quilt will be another winner.

  8. Yay for finishing up the quilting--on the home stretch! I agree on centering the squares (Autumn Jubilee) with the half star--it works. Looks like it was a good week!

  9. I’m a little bit “jelly”of your finishes. My goal for 2023 is to remedy that! I just must! We will see how “my plan” works.
So glad Full Stop is in the home stretch and Marsala is fast on it’s heels! You’re a rock star!
