I started the week with a rebellious red project! Just had to make it, though.
But once I got that out of my system, I've gotten back to my blue scraps and made progress on a couple Rainbow Scrap Challenge projects. I hand-pieced two more plus blocks, so there are four now for the month. I need to prep pieces for two more.
There are 31 of these blocks now - an odd number because I need to make three more greens and two more blues. But I do love how this quilt is shaping up!
Then I finished up the two blue blocks for Masala Box, one bright and one dark.
These are fun blocks to put up on the wall - this is starting to look like a quilt!
Now it's time to get back to work on finishing up PopStar. I got a little more quilting done on it to finish up the week.
It's getting close!

Both your Masala and Plus quilts are shaping up beautifully! That gingham table runner has stolen my heart though. So cheerful and nostalgic!
ReplyDeleteGreat progress. I may have to make another Masala Box quilt. They are so happy.
ReplyDeleteGosh I LOVE that little table runner!! It's just too cute. Good progress on your scrappy projects.
ReplyDeleteI like how the plus blocks are looking with that background fabric it really seems to make the colors pop a bit - I hadn't realized you were hand piecing that top - a nice one sit and stitch with an audio book I bet or just listening to nature outside.
ReplyDeleteYou're making great progress on all your projects!
ReplyDeleteLove your new table runner, Diann!
ReplyDeleteThe plus blocks are most beautiful each new color, month by month. And I love the little pingouins on the bright blue Massala block for the month, just lovely. Great progress on all fronts.
The Masala Box blocks are so bright and colorful. it will be a fantastic quilt.
ReplyDeleteOh, I’m really loving those plus blocks with the scrappy background. Your Masala blocks are really nice too. But the star, imho, is that awesome red gingham table topper, just in time for summer fun!

ReplyDeleteThe red gingham runner is very striking, I've got a pattern here to make a gingham quilt....one day. Love your two other RSC blocks too.
ReplyDeleteYour masala box quilt gave me a great idea for the baby quilt I am going to make today. I need a quick one so I can get it in the post. Thanks for a perfect idea.
ReplyDeleteThank you for being such an excellent ambassador for Masala Box, although I have never seen anything on your design wall that isn't beautiful. Hope your Sunday is joyful.
ReplyDeleteLove the little gingham table runner. Sometimes, we have to do it to get it out of our minds, or else we can't focus on other stuff. Well done. Both of your RSC quilts are coming along nicely. Enjoy! ;^)
ReplyDeleteI really love both of your RSC blocks. They are going to make some great quilts. Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
