I've gotten a couple sets of my 2022 Rainbow Scrap Challenge blocks caught up for pink month. First there are the plus blocks. These are hand-pieced and I've been making six of them every month.
So now there are 24 of them!
I also finished up three Bloom blocks with pink baskets.
For a total of 12 of these!
On point
Or set straight...
These are starting to look like something! It's nice to get to that time in the year - when there are enough blocks to give you an idea of the quilt design.

Lovely 'pink' additions Diann! The 'on point' pic of your Bloom blocks caught my eye, have you decided which way will you set them yet?
ReplyDelete2 quilts are growing beautifully on your front, Diann. I am in love with them.
ReplyDeleteYou're getting quite good at the hand piecing, turning those plus blocks out in nothing flat! Blooms are still my favorite, which got me thinking I've got a lot of cutoff HSTs from the Bible blocks. I bet I could do basket blocks with them.
ReplyDeleteGreat blocks. I should do some plus blocks to use up scraps. Are they made from 2 1/2 inch strips and squares?
ReplyDeleteThe pink is pretty, and I love the rainbow colors against that print background on your plus blocks. Your baskets are so cute!
ReplyDeleteLovely plus blocks--nice work on hand piecing these...and the baskets are really so pretty. Hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteI continue to love those pluses. I like those baskets best on point. Lovely work!
ReplyDeleteI love it when we get this far in each year and the projects start to look like a real quilt. Yours are so cute and are progressing nicely. I like the baskets more every time I see them. Put them on point, for sure!
ReplyDeleteLove those basket blocks and the plus blocks are always fun to see additions to! Have a great Saturday.
ReplyDeleteStraight set or on-point, you can't go wrong with these sweet scrappy basket blocks, Diann!!
ReplyDeleteThe backgrounds of those Plus blocks really make them fun. And scrappy baskets - just as cute as can be!
ReplyDeleteThe plus blocks are to die for. They are so cute with the B&W backgrounds. That is turning into one of my favs-bright colors with B&W background. I've made a couple & they are the best. Love your blocks. I vote for baskets on point! :)
ReplyDeleteare you going to make enough of any of these blocks for a big queen size quilt for your bed? I'm thinking you usually make smaller quilts only? I do like all of them and any of them would be good for a large quilt.
ReplyDeleteGreat pink blocks! I love how scrappy the baskets are and yet there is a rhyme and reason behind them.
ReplyDeleteI just love your plus blocks!!! I want to keep that in mind for future RSCs!!!
ReplyDeletelovely pink progress!
ReplyDeleteso many pretty blocks... love pink with black and white!
ReplyDeletewhat size are your hsts for the baskets? love how they look
ReplyDeleteBoth of your projects are beautiful, the collections are slowly growing.
ReplyDeleteYou are getting some pink to the finish line. I think your idea of baskets in the COM(Color of the Month) is fabulous. Makes for some pretty basket.
ReplyDeleteI too love your Bloom blocks. They are on my to-do list. It will be a lovely quilt. ;^)
ReplyDeleteI love both of these scrappy projects. But the Bloom blocks have my heart :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
Such sweet blocks! I am especially enamored with your baskets. I may need to consider them for my next RSC quilt.
