Halloween Stitching

It has been a fun week for some Halloween stitching - both fast and slow!  I finished the main part of my Autumn Jubilee quilt top.  Check out Carole's version at the link.

At this point it is 36 inches square, a good size for my table.
I could add a final border, which the pattern calls for,
but I may stop right here!

Meanwhile I played with the scraps, and dropped everything else to make this little hand-pieced mug rug!

I spent a couple very pleasant evenings, piecing these little squares together, adding some hand quilting stitches through all of them, and finishing it up with the binding.

And then there's the Pumpkin Patch!

Just a little of this left to stitch!  That will be my Sunday Slow Stitching today.

  3. Your version of Autumn Jubilee turned out beautifully! The mug rug is fun too. You've gots lots of things going on in the sewing room. Love your plan for the RSC hearts blocks. I tend to stall when I have to decide how to set those blocks together. Good luck with your finishing plans. Happy stitching today and Happy Halloween!

  25. You have the best DrEAMi projects! I saw your 36" Halloween table topper on Instagram, and loved it. Too funny that the scraps grabbed your fancy and made you have a DrEAMi moment. Wow, to think it is entirely hand-stitched, just beautiful.
