By the time you're reading this, I will be back home and working on getting back to normal after having had a lovely week of vacation to the Oregon coast. It has been a wonderful getaway, and I'm both sad to leave, but ready to be home again, too.
With that said, I have to share a few photos of my favorite places and views of the trip. These are what keep us coming back to the Oregon Coast!
Big waves, volcanic rock, and tidepools at Cape Perpetua.
Barking seals and sea lions at Simpson Reef, hundreds of them!
Picnics with a view.
Amazing rock formations in the Bandon area, in all kinds of weather!
And, my husband, engaged in one of his favorite activities!
Then there was fog!
And amazing sunsets.
Oh, and one last thing. A winery visit with a picnic lunch on our last day. Brandborg Winery, in Elkton, Oregon.
All in all, it was great to get away, and it will be good to be home again! Joining in with LeeAnna and friends at Not Afraid of Color for I like Thursday.
I'm glad you got away for a week - it had to be a welcome break I know. We all miss this travel - well I guess some do as they please anyhow but some of us have cut way back on our travel the past almost two years. I love the ocean scenes and the rocks on the shore - so pretty - I was out on the coast line just once in that area and remember it well.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your vacation with us;) It sounds like you had an amazing time with beautiful scenery! I love seeing the ocean.
ReplyDeleteI have been looking forward to this! What a gorgeous place. I could almost hear the ocean in those photos. Barking seals - wow! So much beauty with those rocks. Did you bring some wine back home with you?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos. Looks like it wasn't difficult to socially distance. Sounds like you had a great time.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely trip. Love all the beach photos.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a fabulous vacation! One place we’ve never been, Oregon! ( actually there are many places we’ve never been!) It is on our list. A winery visit would be on my list of things to do! Hope you are settling back into routine, refreshed and relaxed!
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous photographs... some of them look so ethereal. I can imagine it would be so relaxing to soak in all of that beauty!
ReplyDeleteOh, thanks for taking us along and showing us the great views! Welcome home!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful vacation. It looks so relaxing and time for lots of outdoor fun. Of course that winery really appeals to me too!

You've got some gorgeous photos here, and lots of good memories. It's so nice to get away now and then.
ReplyDeleteI really liked that photo of your hubby. Beautiful looking scenery. A change is as good as a rest, they say. So nice you both got to enjoy a little vacation!
ReplyDeleteHi Diann! I know you enjoyed the heck out of your getaway. I recognize these photos as a place you've visited before. {{Hugs}} I hope you are safely home now. It's nice to go away but even nicer to return home, don't you think? ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteOh so jealous! Bandon was where my great grandmother that raise me was from. In fact her family at one time were one of the leading families. They owned a broomstick factory, cranberry bogs...her family was one of the first to settle in the area and the house she was born in back in 1896 (she was the youngest of 13 kids) is still standing. Then Elkton and nearby Drain....as a little girl there was a small diner called Arlene's that we always stopped at to get breakfast and they had the best boysenberry pie! Looks like a fabulous trip and thanks for the smiles and memories.
ReplyDeleteMy gosh those are amazing photographs!! It's lovely there! Thanks for sharing your trip with us!!! Have a safe and happy weekend and welcome home!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a very fun trip with lots of beautiful scenery. Hope you are now all caught up on laundry and unpacking.
ReplyDeleteWhat WONDERFUL shots Diann! Ahhh. I'd love to get back there one day, but doubt it will happen. That endless (feels like it) Pacific Ocean... Glad you got away!
