Good morning! I'm checking in with Chris and friends at Chrisknits to share my to-do list for the week.
I'm getting close to a finish on Harmony, my hand-pieced quilt project! Just a few more inches to go on the binding, and it will be done. I think I just couldn't keep my eyes open any longer last night!
This will be quickly finished tonight!
Progress has been made on quilting Rainbow Strings, too. The top is so busy that you can't even tell any quilting has been done, so I'll show you a peek at the back instead.
Still working on those large diamond shapes!
Among other things that I worked on last week, I did also finish up the last of the 16 arrows needed for Follow Your Own Path! I was going to put on this week's list to cut the 5.5 x 9.5 background rectangles, but I started working on that this morning (Monday) and it went so quickly that I'm done with that. Look!
So on this week's list:
- Keep quilting Rainbow Strings! I'm going to make a goal to finish this quilt by the end of June.
- Make progress on the FYOP quilt top construction.
- Make two more red exclamation marks for Full Stop, the Rainbow Scrap Challenge 2021 sampler. I've completed 5, but would like 7. They also need to be sewn together into a row.
- Make some time to play with my purple scraps. Purple is the RSC color for June. I don't have much purple, so I may have to do a bit of stash enhancing. 😉
Oh, and get my Hands2Help quilt donations packed up and mailed off. That should be doable!
Sounds like you'll have quite a busy week!
ReplyDeleteyou have a good list going for this week hope you get it all done! I want to get my 36 patch blocks done and my stars
ReplyDeleteGreat progress Diann.
ReplyDeleteDo you say purple? OMG I don't have much purple scraps, let's see what I can do with them.
Good luck with your goals for this week.
You had a pretty good week, I like your gray background, that is going to be a pretty quilt.
ReplyDeleteGreat progress. Love how those arrows are looking.
ReplyDeleteGood progress, Diann! Good thing you stopped when you were tired. No sewing with sharp things when one is tired, you don't want to be snoozing with a needle! LOL
ReplyDeleteWonderful progress, can't wait to see your hand quilted piece. Good luck with your weekly goals! Thanks for linking up with a late To-Do.
ReplyDeleteHi Diann! Your arrows look fab! I love your choice for the background fabric. It looks stunning. Your quilting looks nice on the Rainbow Strings quilt top, too. Great job! ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteOh your arrows are looking so good! Hand-quilting makes me sleepy, too. (nothing puts me to sleep like knitting tho! lol). Great progress, and good luck in the coming week!
ReplyDeleteI love the background on the arrows quilt! Harmony looks sooooo pretty.
ReplyDeletePretty projects, good luck with the list of the week!
