These came together with a little bit of sashing and some binding to make this sweet tiny tablerunner.
It measures 4.5 x 19.
There was just enough of the green floral left for the binding.
I wish I had more of this favorite print!
I found the perfect spot for my tiny tablerunner!
Meanwhile, I made some progress on my Zigzag quilt top by using the HSTs for leaders and enders in between other projects.
So there are four rows finished for this Rainbow Scrap Challenge project! They each measure 8.5 x 49.
I think four more rows - red, yellow, pink, and purple - will make a nice size lap quilt!

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute table runner. The American Jane fabric is sweet and the perfect choice for the border. I'm really loving the Zig Zag project, of course. You've got a wonderful collection of neutrals to set off the colors!
ReplyDeleteSweet blocks and a great use for them. Plus, they are RSC-ready!

ReplyDeleteHow adorable is that runner! I am thinking I need to do another mini with some orphan blocks I have laying around. Or maybe a topper in a 2x2 layout. Must consider that plan.

ReplyDeleteYour zig zag is coming along very nicely. I made one last year, well not into a top yet, lol, but my backgrounds are gray. Your scrappy backgrounds are so lively and bright.
ReplyDeleteI love your zigzag rows--great colors! And your green table runner is absolutely adorable. You always make so many nice things.
ReplyDeleteNice work, Diann!!
ReplyDeleteI love how you angled the little runner! I never would have thought of making a runner that is only 4.5", but what a great way to add some interest and color! And of course...that zig zag quilt is coming along beautifully and will be gorgeous with the other colors added!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see your chevron quilt, I love it more and more ;) Pretty green blocks too.
ReplyDeleteI love your mini table runner. Its adorable! Congrats! There's always one fabric we are sorry to see all used up. Your green one is a great print. I understand why it is a favourite. ;^)

ReplyDeleteThat little runner is sew sweet!!! And I love the chevron rainbow!!! Love the colors bouncing out of your studio!
ReplyDeleteI love both your table runner and your zigzag top -- very different, but both fabulous! Also, I found you some MORE of that green floral fabric just now on Etsy, so if you really do want some more of it, you can get some right here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/688232587/moda-merry-go-round-21723-15-green?gpla=1&gao=1&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_us_c-craft_supplies_and_tools-fabric_and_notions-fabric&utm_custom1=53c12c33-a56d-4f29-91f6-8de16758e1f4&utm_content=go_2063557858_76452864655_367965824850_aud-459688892115:pla-295916403786_c__688232587&utm_custom2=2063557858&gclid=CjwKCAjw5Ij2BRBdEiwA0Frc9aOipk2eMAQ0DVK4rycqPH1_9WdhHIecS6M5HQAOjep_ArrSffzEjxoCHv4QAvD_BwE
ReplyDeleteDon't know if the link will work through the comments, but if it doesn't, all I did was go to Etsy and search with the keywords "MODA MERRY GO ROUND AMERICAN JANE GREEN FLORAL." I know what it's like to use up the last bit of a favorite fabric and wish you'd bought more of it when it was available!
Love that tiny tablerunner. These small projects do help me when I lose motivation on bigger quilts. There is always a place around the house that needs a runner.
ReplyDeleteYou have some lovely projects on the go (love the red blocks from previous post) that's a nice finish on your mini table runner
ReplyDeleteThat is one tiny runner but it really looks cute on the chest. I really like your ZigZag quilt. It is so bright and spring-y.
ReplyDeleteVery cute table runner for spring. Love your zigzag blocks, very bright and colorful.
ReplyDeleteThat table runner is adorable. I'm not really into table runners for myself, but in this size, you could change my mind!
ReplyDeleteOh what a sweet little runner! I should make one for my island. Haven't wanted to cover up my husband's lovely work in crafting the top for it, so I've not put any of my tabletoppers/runners on it (now THAT's restratin) but one this size might be in order! Love the greens. And the RSC zigzag quilt!!! Where has it been all my life? You make the best things, Diann. Thank you for celebrating squirrel-chasing at DrEAMi!
