In all, there were eleven 2 and 3/4 inch blocks, and then triangles added on to create this shape.
A little trimming was needed -
And then some background triangles and rectangles to pull everything together.
Makes for a fun little finish, perfect for the season!

Lovely likes Diann in your Thursday post. We get two of those Jacquie cards each year and they are really delightful. And how lovely your tiny tree is! This piecing was perfect for you with your skills. What a great Christmas finish!
ReplyDeleteI love it! So cute!
ReplyDeleteIt's fantastic! So much work and love went into this and it shows! Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI like the way the placement of light fabric looks like ornaments.
ReplyDeleteI love it! a lot of work went into this piece!
ReplyDeleteThose teeny tiny blocks sure made into an adorable tree wall hanging. Are those little gecko magnets holding it?

ReplyDeleteVery cute and very festive!
ReplyDeleteAdorable and Sustainable!!! Happy Holidays :-)
ReplyDeleteNicely done, Diann! SEW festive!!
ReplyDeleteHi Diann! What a pretty tree. I just LOVE the green fabrics you used. Just enough differences for some depth, and those pinwheels look so darn sweet. The background fabric kind of suggests that it's snowing, don't you think?! Love it. Merry Christmas to you and your family. ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteEEK - and thanks for linking up for TGIFF! ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! A very good idea to make a Christmas tree quilt!
ReplyDeleteYou have such a bright, happy tree. It was such a fun sew along; just the right length for the holiday season! My decorating is almost done, thanks to my daughter. It's looking a bit more like Christmas in my house!

ReplyDeleteThat tree is ADORABLE!
ReplyDeleteI resisted from joining in the fun but seeing your mini, I wish I had. It is so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThis is perfect for the holiday season! I made a small-ish tree quilt many years ago, {now dated fabrics & not-modern tree} but I still love having it out each year on the coffee table!
