Mellow Blue

I'm getting caught up on this month's Tiny Tuesday blocks - a few one inch pieces at a time!  I loved picking out lots of different pieces for this week's quarter log cabin.

And here are my blues with their gray sashing.

Along the way, a light blue crumb block was stitched up as well.

I love our quilty blogging community so much!  People are always so kind and generous!  Thank you, Libby from Life on the Hill, for sending me a package of blue sky scraps to add to my Scrappy Sprouts and Sky project.

And thank you, Kate from Life in Pieces, for messing around in Photo Shop with my very dull picture of my low volume Bright Hopes blocks and sending me such a good result!

So much better!

Happy ScrapHappy Saturday, everyone!  Sharing at SoScrappy.

  4. I love the grey framing fabric you used with your Tiny Tuesday blocks. Is that a Grunge?

  5. Oh, your tiny blocks are making me so excited to start my project. I finally decided on the sashing fabric and decided to use my hand dyed for the blocks! I might throw in some prints here and there. Now to just rein myself in and wait for 2020 to start making them a few a month.

  6. So many pretty blue blocks -- how can anyone be blue looking at them?! Aren't quilty friends the best!?!

  7. You are doing a great job keeping up with TT! I need to do this week's log cabin. I will be on the road so much in September I fear that I will be woefully behind although DH said it would be ok if I brought a machine on our vacation trip ...

  8. I am just loving your blocks with that grey. The blues are so pretty against it.

  9. Your RSC blocks are amazing. They look perfect, even those with small one-inch pieces. Now I see which way they should be framed. It was very nice the way you did it. Maybe I can pull up some of my blocks and turn them around. :-)
