And here are my blues with their gray sashing.
Along the way, a light blue crumb block was stitched up as well.
I love our quilty blogging community so much! People are always so kind and generous! Thank you, Libby from Life on the Hill, for sending me a package of blue sky scraps to add to my Scrappy Sprouts and Sky project.
And thank you, Kate from Life in Pieces, for messing around in Photo Shop with my very dull picture of my low volume Bright Hopes blocks and sending me such a good result!
So much better!
Happy ScrapHappy Saturday, everyone! Sharing at SoScrappy.
Your blue blocks look good with the grey background! I'm enjoying watching your quilt grow! Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeletelove your blues!
ReplyDeleteI really like your blue quarter square log cabin block.
ReplyDeleteLove your blues! The double 9-patch has such tiny pieces! And the gray sashing does make them shine. Have a fun weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love the grey framing fabric you used with your Tiny Tuesday blocks. Is that a Grunge?
ReplyDeleteOh, your tiny blocks are making me so excited to start my project. I finally decided on the sashing fabric and decided to use my hand dyed for the blocks! I might throw in some prints here and there. Now to just rein myself in and wait for 2020 to start making them a few a month.
ReplyDeleteSo many pretty blue blocks -- how can anyone be blue looking at them?! Aren't quilty friends the best!?!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing a great job keeping up with TT! I need to do this week's log cabin. I will be on the road so much in September I fear that I will be woefully behind although DH said it would be ok if I brought a machine on our vacation trip ...
ReplyDeleteI am just loving your blocks with that grey. The blues are so pretty against it.
ReplyDeleteYour RSC blocks are amazing. They look perfect, even those with small one-inch pieces. Now I see which way they should be framed. It was very nice the way you did it. Maybe I can pull up some of my blocks and turn them around. :-)
ReplyDeleteWonderful blocks.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blue blocks! Hard to believe there are only two more months for RSC blocks.
ReplyDeleteOoh, that gray sashing sets off your tiny blue blocks so well. The whole quilt will be adorable!
ReplyDeleteWholeheartedly agree with your feelings on the quilting community. Love those blue blocks and it's good for me to see the set as now I need to go back and start doing that with all mine!
