I just loved turning these little bits and pieces...
into a tiny pink piggy!
But then, these fish came swimming along, demanding to get in on the fun.
I'm not much of a fisherman (or should that be fisherwoman?), but Ms. Oinker caught these two quite easily!
Here they are, joining their tiny pink buddies for the month of July!
And in other project news, I finished up the last two blocks I needed for my Floral Sawtooth Stars quilt.
I started with 11 Sawtooth Stars in 12.5 inch, 9.5 inch, 6.5 inch, and 4.5 inch sizes.
Then I made 9 alternate blocks that are all versions of 4 patches.
All of the blocks finish at 12 inches.
All that's left is to figure out the layout and get these blocks sewn together!

These are adorable!!! I love the fabrics you chose! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteLove the eye placement on your fish! At least your pig looks like a pig. Mine is just a porky blob -- bad fabric choices. I hope to do over this weekend.
ReplyDeleteYour Tiny Tuesday blocks are so adorable--really nice work on these,
ReplyDeletehugs, Julierose
:) interesting pig!!
ReplyDeleteYour pig is super cute, and so are the fish. Love all the stars, too. Have a cool Saturday!
ReplyDeleteMiss pink Piggy is adorable! We are not much of fishermen/women either but we tried this past week while on vacay at a lake. We each caught a sunny but was to small to keep. I was hoping for a bass again, but didn't happen. Good thing we had enough food along anyway!
ReplyDeleteYour pig turned out so cute. Love the fabric. I had a bit of a problem with some triangle points. I may try again, if I get a hour or two that is uninterrupted. I two noticed the flower fabric fish and the eye! Happy coincidence or planned?
ReplyDeleteLovely pink blocks... and your sawtooth stars are pretty too!
ReplyDeleteYour TT blocks are so darling! They’re all going to look fantastic together! And your stars and patch blocks are so pretty too.i really like the color scheme. Lots of fun progress at your house!
ReplyDeleteYou are having fun over there! Love that little piggy and she snagged a couple of cute fish!
ReplyDeleteYour piggy block turned out cute ... mine not so much. I may do the fishes and keep the pig for the back! Lol! These TTs are so FUN!!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable blocks Diann. Your TT quilt is going to be amazing :)
ReplyDeleteThe pig is so cute. It reminds me of the costume I made for my youngest when she was a few months old. I had a pink long John, bought darker pink socks, and then made a Brest plate and hood to mimic Piglet. Her older sister had a Pooh costume, so that started their paired Halloween costumes for the next 8 years.
ReplyDeleteLove your Tiny Tuesday blocks with the grey backgrounds. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteA lovely collection of blocks. The little pig is great! And I love your Sawtooth stars.
ReplyDeleteYour TT blocks are coming along swimmingly! And the Floral Sawtooth Stars look great - it's going to be a stunning quilt!
ReplyDeleteI love Sawtooth Star quilts. They are so versatile. I've never seen a Sawtooth Star quilt I didn''t like.
ReplyDeleteThis pig can fly. She flew right into my heart!!!
ReplyDeleteYour piggy is so flat and tidy. I find mine is a bit lumpy in all the wrong places!
