Just a little more

I've had one of those weeks where lots is going on, just not in the sewing room!  We all have them - and aren't those the days when we want to sew the most?  That's true for me anyway.

I did have a chance to visit my LQS and I admit to some stash enhancement!  A fat quarter of these kitties came home with me -

And I bet you can guess why!

My Tiny Tuesday kitty cat(s)!

This is going to be a fun collection of blocks.


The only other time in my sewing room this week was spent on quilting Squared Away.

"Almost there, almost there, almost there" is my mantra.

I did make the binding this week, too, so I hope to be sewing it on very soon.

    I think your kitty block is one of the best I have seen, some I can barely see that it is supposed to be a kitty! I have one block for the challenge and hope today to make a couple more - same design or other is to be decided.

    It's the perfect fabric! I need to get a Fat Quarter of a black material, but I am afraid if I step inside a fabric store I will go crazy!!! LOL

    What darling kitty fabric! I love how the little cats peek out of the background of your tiny block :) Are those gardening gloves on top of Squared Away?

    I love love love that kitty print and so would my girl friend Anne--
    love your block--I had just decided to stitch a cat block (hand piecing though as I don't have a machine right now)--so will have to check and see if I have any cat prints to use as you did--hummmmm--thanks so much for sharing your block--

    Cute kitty fabric. I would have thought it would have gotten cut up too much to be recognized as kitty fabric if used as a background for a small block but I'll be darned. How cute is that background kitty that showed up.
