The 20 Scrap Jar Star blocks were made throughout 2016 as I followed along with the Rainbow Scrap Challenge monthly color choices.
The quilt flimsy was finished in March of this year, and the quilting and binding were finished in May.
My hubby and I had fun photographing my Rainbow Stars at Benson Sculpture Park in the city where I live, Loveland, Colorado.
Thanks for joining me while I share one of my favorite quilt finishes one more time! To see more quilters who are sharing their favorite quilts, be sure to check out the Bloggers' Quilt Festival at Amy's Creative Side.
love your star quilt - I'm not sure how many star quilts I have made over the years and never tire of them
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful setting to show off your pretty quilt. I like the last photo: Portrait of the Artist with her Quilt

ReplyDeleteVery cool pictures, so glad you entered this quilt.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing this finished after seeing you make all of the blocks last year! I love your artsy pictures too. :)
ReplyDeleteI just love seeing your quilt in the sculpture park. I've visited it several times when we visited Colorado and am quite jealous that you have a wonderful place to photograph your quilts. All I have is photo editing quilts on animals. And to think there are so many other sculptures you can drape your quilts on--okay now I'm really jealous.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty quilt and a fun way to photograph it!
ReplyDeleteThis was a great challenge and your quilt has made the most of it. It looks lovely with the white background.
