- From a festive red, white, and blue table runner, and a fun improv flag wall-hanging early in the month-
- to some blue Monkey business at the end of the month.
- I used up a few more scraps making some improv slab blocks -
- Plus 8 blue string blocks, a maple leaf, a nine patch, and some bow ties!
Of course, there are still lots of scraps in the blue bin, but that's okay because I really love blue!
Curious about what other RSC quilters have been up to for the last of this blue month? Check them out at SoScrappy for the ScrapHappy Saturday link-up!
I wish I was one of those participating in the RSC 2017 this month AGAIN! I am hoping that August will see a slow down in the peripheral doings around here...like: washing dishes, mowing acres and acres of "grass", (I really thought that's what my horses were for!) There has just been so many things to catch up on after winter happened.
ReplyDeleteI am so far behind in all my projects, but I am determined to get back to where everyone else is with the colors of the month.
I love your blues...but most of all I love that flag! Did you make the pattern yourself or did someone else do that one? It is the cutest!
you certainly have made plenty of blue scrap blocks all look good I only o one crazy block a month so my scraps do not seem to get any smaller!
ReplyDeleteYou made good use of those blue scraps. Very fun and pretty blocks.
ReplyDeletePretty projects around your house! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't get enough blues in my stash - I love them too.
You have had a good month of scrappiness! I have fallen way down hill on the RSC17 blocks. I might just continue with them next year. I have made peace with that;) But I will continue to enjoy seeing yours.
ReplyDeleteAll your blocks look great! How is there any blue left? :)
ReplyDeleteA fun selection of blue blocks for July!
ReplyDeleteYou've certainly been busy with your BLUE scraps. Nice work!!
ReplyDeleteYou've really been singing those blues!
ReplyDeleteLove that monkey. :D We could almost do two months of blues: one for the darker tones and one for light blues. I know I only made it about halfway through my blue scraps this time around.
ReplyDeleteOh my! You got a lot of blue work done!
ReplyDeleteSome blue beauties of projects you have! My blue bine has its very own box, unlike all but one, the green, of the other colours, which just have ziploc bags! I particularly like the improv wallhanging!
ReplyDeleteLove the monkey fabrics. The Improv blocks are neat. Saw pieces of KF blue "hard boiled eggs" fabric. I can't find a place to use it. Great job with blues.
ReplyDeletePretty blues! Especially that Kaffeish monkey!
ReplyDeleteWow - you did a super job with your blues this month! And I looooove your patriotic projects. You are rocking the RSC!!
ReplyDeleteBlue went swimmingly for you this month. So many great blue blocks.
ReplyDeleteGreat set of blue blocks. Us Canadians are try to show our colour more with a special birthday, 150 this year. Great Patriotic quilts.
ReplyDeleteWow! Looks like you've had a fun and productive month of blue!
ReplyDeleteOh my, lots of lovely blues bits & pieces happening at yours! I love your last pic of them all up on your design wall!
