The 6 inch bow tie blocks I've been working on go together really fast, so I dug around in my green scrap bin, found some pieces that would work, and got busy!
Before I knew it, there were four more bow ties to add to my collection.
Now there's a happy bunch!
Sharing at So Scrappy for Scrap Happy Saturday!

ReplyDeleteBow tie blocks are the ultimate quick sewing "fix". Yours are so cute! Before you know it, they'll be multiplying like bunnies!
ReplyDeleteToo funny...all you could think of was sewing after a nice vacation? I thought I was the only one! Looks like you did enjoy some productive sewing time because those are some nice bow ties to add to your colorful collection.
ReplyDeletethe machine reunion! happy dance
ReplyDeleteYour green scraps are pretty!
ReplyDeleteThat's one of the BEST Bow Tie patterns around!! The only other one I like to make is the 3-D version. SEW glad that you gave yourself the gift of some sewing time BEFORE chores and errands! Such a wonderful start to any day.
ReplyDeleteI can relate to wanting to sew versus doing laundry etc. yes! :)
ReplyDeleteLaundry will keep, but those blocks are too cute to ignore for long. We quilters have to set our priorities. Sew first, work later.
ReplyDeleteLove those happy, Spring-like bow ties!
ReplyDeleteFeels so good to sew, great greens.
ReplyDeleteso good when you can dive into scraps and come up with so many blocks great job
ReplyDeleteAlways good to get back to sewing. The bow ties are so fresh in their spring green.
ReplyDeleteVery fun bow ties. There is always so much after one has been on the road. But spending a bit of time in the sewing room ranks up there for me. It seems to settle me down and say, yes I'm really home.
