Angela at SoScrappy has chosen aquamarine for February for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge, so this week I added to my collection of maple leaves and nine patches.
I was having so much fun with these refreshing colors that I decided to make a 6 inch slab block to match them!
Making this slab block was kind of like stitching up a mini scrap vortex, all focused on one color, relaxing, and with no rules! Just square it all up at the end.
So then I thought, why not make a few more to match my other leaves and nine patches!
Looks like I need to fill one more spot!

ReplyDeleteLoving your maple leaves and I think the rogue blocks are amazing...stress free which is what is the best way to quilt. I love musicals too and have seen the three in your photo. I'll never forget the audience all on their feet singing along to the last song in Mama Mia. Amazing feeling. From me A fellow retired teacher.

I am leaving my email address because it has been pointed out to me that I am a "no reply" blogger. I am not too good at this blog thing, but I will change that as soon as I figure out how to do it!
