We had family traveling in from Idaho, but they left (and arrived in town) early to avoid the storm. We are traveling down the road about 4 miles for Thanksgiving tomorrow - a simple almost-straight line with nary a hill, so we’re not too worried. And since 90% of my Christmas shopping is done, the freezer is stocked and I’ve been released to do as I please from the doctor, I see lots of sewing in my long weekend!! Happy Thanksgiving, Diann! Supposed to get 14-18 inches of snow tonight through tomorrow, and they are advising folks to stay home. Since we are hosting a dinner for my in-laws and several of their elderly friends Thursday, we are heading out this afternoon, hopefully ahead of the storm. Why didn't the US celebrate Thanksgiving when we could all go camping and not have to worry about horrid travel conditions? I guess you could freeze some for later so you don't get to sick of it. Make the best of it and get lots of sewing done. We're staying home alone and our forecast is for high winds and maybe some rain. It's 55 and sunny right now. I knew your trip to Nebraska would be off and there you had cooked the turkey already. What a let down - but winter does through a curve ball now and then doesn't it. It happened to us one year for Christmas Melanie was only an hour away and couldn't come home because of ice and had to stay put. Either LOTS and LOTS of snow (pink) or just a normal amount (purple). Yikes! I think it is wise to skip the traveling during this storm, and 55 million others who will be out there. I love your list - stock up on food and gas for the snowblower. I'm an odd duck - a BIG storm like this makes me feel giddy. I love to watch it snow and snow and snow. We haven't had a huge storm like that for ages. Let me be clear - I am NOT complaining one bit. I just adore your Tiny blocks all together, and also your Thankful table runner. Stay safe! Thank you for linking up today, I wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ RoseanneHome Sewn By Ushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13943739387560629258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7488073303206028166.post-15636968453894352312019-11-26T03:46:36.578-07:002019-11-26T03:46:36.578-07:00Oh my, I hope you will be safe.
