Slow stitching this week...

I put the last stitch into Sweetly Sayin on Friday evening!

I didn't have time to fully finish it yesterday, but I did back it with some fusible interfacing and trim to size.  Now it can hang out with its February friends until next weekend when I change everything out for March!

Next up to finish the stitching on is the Winter snowman embroidery.  Not much left here except that mitten, a snowflake, and some umbrellas.

It won't be long until I can start something new.  I've enjoyed the cool blue and white of the snowman, and the sweet pink and turquoise of the Valentine stitch, but I think my new start will be something green!

  2. Sweetly Saying is really cute, mixing the teal with the pink works so well. Hope you get in lots of slow stitching today.

  5. You finished that pretty fast, and I love the darker red with the aqua/turquoise/teal or whatever it is - it's really pretty. I'm glad it gets to hang out with the other February friends!

  6. I'm just caught up on your posts, Diann, a great read there this morning. I loved seeing your Mom and the flower bouquets are a wonderful idea...I've never thought of looking in a supermarket for them. No, I couldn't find you in the photo though I made it larger, :)
Pretty house and trees, lovely slow stitching here too. How we love our stitchy projects heh!

  7. That stitch is so very cute! Will it become a little pillow or part of a wall quilt?

  9. Your finished February is beautiful. I think I’ll put interfacing on the back and put it in the TBFinished drawer. A not in my calendar to finish next January will probably help! lol. Do you have green project selected?
