Slow stitching this week...

I fully finished little Mr. Frosty into a bowl filler pillow earlier in the week, and he is now hanging out with his other snow friends.

Frosty got his wish and we got some snow this week!  Nothing like other parts of the country got, but enough to make us realize it really is still winter!

Let it snow!

Of course, I figured that meant I could start something new.  This is the very beginning of "Sweetly Sayin" from Primrose Cottage, a Valentine design.  I'm going to enjoy stitching with these pretty colors!

I'm also still stitching on the winter embroidery.  You can probably tell that I've been moving the hoop around.  Just a little bit more to do now.

  3. You are going to need a bigger bowl for all those bowl fillers! So fun to see what goes in the bowl as the seasons change. I love the snowman embroidery. Lots of people have pulled out a valentines project. Gail at the cozy quilter

  4. Sweet projects. We got just a little snow over ice last night, more freezing rain today will make the roads treacherous. So, we are hunkered down for today and likely tomorrow too.

  6. Your snowman turned out really cute. Enjoy your slow stitching today. We ended up with about 5" of snow, which is pretty, the cold is not!

  8. Mr Frosty is adorable, and I like your start on Sweetly Sayin'. I haven't started mine yet - we'll see if I can make myself pick out some floss! Glad you got some snow! At my house it is 14° with little snowflakes swirling around and the sun is trying to shine. We have over 4 inches of sleet on the ground and it is hard-packed.

  16. What an adorable little snowman, and so timely to be finishing him up while most of the country was getting pelted with snow and sleet!
