The Rainbow Scrap Challenge color of the month for January is blue, and I have definitely been sewing with blue this week...
but I've also been stitching in blue this week - on two projects! The snowman has seen some progress, including a cup of hot cocoa and some flowers. Do you think those are meant to be snowdrops? I've never seen them in real life, but the pictures look like this design.
And then I started something new. This is Melisa at PinkernPunkin's Frosty Stamp. I started with the blue, but the rest of it needs red, white, and black. Can you tell I've been inspired by the prospect of snow around here? We did get a little bit on Thursday, but nothing that accumulated.
The table by my stitching chair is all set up with plenty to work on today for Slow Sunday Stitching!

Blue is wonderful! I'm not sure if those flowers are snowdrops are not. Anyway, love the projects!
ReplyDeleteBoth projects are coming along beautifully. Enjoy your slow stitching today. No snow here, but it's cold and windy. I'd rather have the snow!
ReplyDeleteThe snowman is coming along nicely. Yes, I do think those are snowdrops.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful in blues. They are so calming and sweet, Diann.
ReplyDeleteThey could be snowdrops? In UK prime snowdrop time is February but I must admit I haven’t looked to see if they are shooting in my garden. Lovely snowman project. No snow in the south of England but plenty up north! Sarah quilting by the sea
ReplyDeleteI was happy to have some rain this past week. It washed away some of the mountain of snow that we have. I wish I could share it with you!
ReplyDeleteLove the snowman in blue! You have a nice hand work setup. Enjoy your Sunday.

ReplyDeleteyou are all set up for stitching aren't you. I had been into a book all day and finished it and put it aside and it was time to do something else but sometimes when I am into a good book I have a hard time putting it aside and do something else.
