A mini sampler finish...

I finished up the Rose Garden Mini Sampler this week.  There wasn't much left to stitch - I think there were three roses and a green leaf - so it didn't take too long.   Then I turned it into a bowl filler pillow.

Or in my case, a basket filler!  This is my collection of mini samplers - except for the strawberry one which displayed on the entryway chest of drawers right now.  The basket is getting full!

Then I went back to an older project that had been set aside for awhile - the Old Crow Saltbox House.  I need to fill in the windows and then stitch some sunflowers around the outside of the house.

Thank you, Melisa, at PinkernPunkin, for sharing your designs so generously!
I am enjoying every stitch.

  1. You are going to need a bigger basket soon! Such fun little projects! How will you finish off the house? Framed? Hang it on the wall? Enjoy your stitching

  2. Very colorful samplers. You are going to need a bigger basket soon if you keep making those samplers. The Saltbox House is really pretty, love the blues you picked. Happy stitching today.

  5. That's a pretty sampler. Since your bowl is getting pretty full, how about we all come by and pick out the one we want - lol! Love the blues you used on the saltbox house.

  9. I also completed the stitching on the Rose Sampler from Melisa but I haven't done anything with it yet to 100% finish it. I'm aiming to finishe it off at the same time I finish off the Georgian Floral Basket. Your bowl, er basket, is filling up nicely!
