I Like Thursday #295

Happy Thursday, friends!  How's your week going?  As on most Thursdays, I'm joining in with I Like Thursday, hosted by LeeAnna at Not Afraid of Color.  Be sure to check out all the positive posts at the link!

Mike and I went for another miniature golf outing the other day.  This was at Fort Fun in Fort Collins, and was where we went on one of our first dates way back in 1974!

We had fun!

LeeAnna suggested we include something in today's post about our favorite clothing.
So...what you see in the above photo is basically my summer uniform - shorts and a t-shirt!  When the weather gets cooler it turns into jeans and a t-shirt, with a hoodie over the top.  Maybe I'll go wild and wear a fleece vest sometimes, too.  (I do live in Colorado, lol!)

The truth is, since I retired from teaching, I don't worry about my clothes anymore.
But I do love a 30% off coupon at Kohls!  😎

One of my favorite book series had a new book come out this year, and I read it last week, The Women's Murder Club series, by James Patterson.  This one was a quick read and a page turner!

We have the little wild rabbits all over our yard on most days, and you never know where they're going to turn up.  We caught this photo of one trying to stay cool in this spot recently.

The garden is starting to produce, which is always lovely!

I've enjoyed adding some stitches to this embroidery this week.  The little yellow flowers are done, so I did another section of the blue ones.  Next there are some pink ones to add, too.

Have a great day, everyone!

love your baby rabbits they are so cute. I like miniature golf but no local place to play so haven't done so in a long time. You are as casual as I but I normally have capri's instead of shorts and winter jeans/leggings and sweatshirts/sweaters. I am not a fashionista.

I have about the same uniform as you for summer! I love the Kohls 30 and sometimes 40% coupons. Although lately I haven't found anything I like or need there. We have been getting a few peas and zuchini. Only one cucumber 2 weeks ago, but several flowers on so I hope they soon produce the real thing.

We have lots of rabbits in our neighbourhood…they seem to think my garden is their salad plate….
Love your embroidery project. Cute blue flowers!

I live in my shorts and tshirts (I put on a nicer top for video calls at work!). We have lots of bunnies around our neighborhood as well. They are so cute as they hop away when I am walking. I have not played mini golf in years... I need to drag the kids sometime. Pretty embroidery. Have a great Thursday.

Mini golf! Fun! ! We haven’t played in a long time. No local venue.
No shorts for me! I have those Nordic bred thighs and pudgy knees! Heehee! We have bunnies too! They especially like our yard after the sprinkler has run. Spread out flat on their tummies! I should try to get a picture!

Love that pic of you playing mini golf. It must have been a not-quite-so-hot day. Laughing at you going wild and wearing a fleece vest!

I was just saying I miss Ft Collins... I didn't know til recently they have a Jerry's artorama. You're looking cool in your shorts! I have zero vegetables still and you have harvest? do you green house them to start?

Oh my you are lucky to have the thighs for shorts Diann, being slim like you are. That's where I oddly carry extra weight so never ever wear them and even my swim wear is those dress types. But I don't care about it. Meanwhile, how neat to get to revisit a site of one of your first dates. Wonderful to now be getting some produce from your garden. And it goes without saying I love to see your embroidery always. Every stitch counts.

Mini golfing! I haven't been in ages. That bunny looks content. Ooh... tomatoes. Mine aren't quite there yet (and someone keeps stealing the low-hanging ones).

My wardrobe is much the same as yours. Isn't retirement great? No dresses or skirts or dress shoes. Casual all the time. We have bunnies, too, and deer, chipmunks, squirrels, woodchucks, and skunks. It's a regular wildlife preserve around here.

Hi Diann! Short and t-shirts are a comfy choice for warmer weather. We haven't played miniature golf in ages. I wonder if there are any places that offer it around here - I'll have to check. I used the read the Women's Murder Club series and I enjoy Patterson. I'll have to get back to it again. Enjoy the day! {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

Your uniform is my uniform! What a sweet embroidery and your veggies? Drool-worthy! You know I'm mostly talking about your green beans, right? Sure do wish I'd gotten mine in the ground!

I haven't played goofy golf in years, but it looks like fun! I like your summer outfit, too. I still need to check out those books! Pretty stitching!
