To-Do Tuesday #24

If I measure my week in Tuesdays, then Tuesday seems to come around awfully fast...  (wink!)    I did get a lot done, though - it's been a great week!

Tiny Tuesday is now completely finished and written about.  If you're curious about that post, you can find it HERE.   It feels great to have a quilt finish!

I've been keeping up with the Crabapple Hill embroidery stitch-along, too!  For Sunday's square, "K,"  I had to watch a video and learn a new stitch - the cast-on stitch.  It's a really neat one that results in a 3 dimensional flower shape, and I think I did okay on it!

My Scrappy Hearts and 9 patches tablerunner has been machine quilted, and now I'm adding some hand quilting on the hearts, and sewing the binding.

Book Club happened on Monday afternoon, and the house was ready for hosting, and the book finished!  Win, win!

So for the upcoming week -

1.  Keep up with my daily embroidery.

2.  Finish the tablerunner so that it can be displayed for Valentine's Day.

3.  Make four more orange tree blocks to add to my Rainbow Scrap Challenge 2020 project.  Orange is the color for February.  Here's what I've made so far:

4.  I'm still trying to get those sunflower centers done - for some reason I just keep putting them off!  Good thing I'm not trying to win a race with that project!  But they'll stay on the list.

the trees are looking great! I know what you mean - sometimes I wonder if it is these link ups that make the week go by fast! before you know it is Sunday again or Tuesday or Friday or whatever and you are left thinking "already" it just was

Hi Diann! Oh, I love your orange blocks. Orange just makes me smile. Hmm, I've never heard of that stitch for embroidery. I'll have to look that up for sure! Your sampler is coming along so nicely. Good luck with your runner - you will certainly be able to enjoy it this week. Good luck with another productive week! You've been rocking your lists. Thank you for linking up this week. ~smile~ Roseanne

The embroidery is looking pretty. Do I spy some variegated blue thread?
I've got to stop looking at your blog posts! Now I want to make a scrappy heart quilt. I guess I need to make a To-Do list and stick to it. I wonder if I could without squirrel distraction. ;)

Tuesday came around awfully fast all of a sudden (hehe). You have done well this past week, and you have some good things togged up for this coming week too! What is the next book you'll be reading?

Hmmmm .... never even heard of a cast-on stitch. It looks really nice with such dimension. Fabulous job this week -- lots accomplished!

You are already ahead of the game, Diann. The race is just an illusion :-) The trees in your forest are already in spring mode, forget the wintry conditions outside :-)

Your little flower looks great--I just today's square for the letter 'L'--but did a couple different colors--but that's me most of the time--stitching to my own drums!!
luv, di

Congratulations on your table runner finish! I really like your embroidery piece. I need to relearn it again. Someday. Best of luck with your list this week.

Love the Scrappy hearts and nine patch table runner. Hand quilting on the hearts will be gorgeous. I look forward to seeing it completed. Love the embroidery too. Thanks for visiting me at Kathryn Quilts.
